What is Story Pack Studio?
Story Pack Studio is a tool that generates personalised adventure and pretend-play packs for families. You tell us a little about your child, your energy levels, and how much time you have — and we create a complete, ready-to-use activity pack in seconds. No planning, no preparation, no endless searching.
How is this different from just using an AI chatbot?
A general AI chatbot gives you a starting point. Story Pack Studio gives you a finished experience — structured missions, a parent role, a closing ceremony, and a debrief written specifically for your family's situation right now. The prompts have been carefully engineered so every pack follows a consistent philosophy: low effort for parents, genuinely magical for children. You'd spend longer prompting a chatbot than it takes to fill in our form.
Why did you build this?
Because exhausted parents deserve better than a blank page. Story Pack Studio was built by a parent who knows what 4pm on a difficult day actually feels like — and wanted something that could make the next hour feel possible, even magical. The goal was never to replace imagination. It was to give parents a running start when theirs has temporarily run out.
Is my data stored or shared?
No. We don't store the information you enter in the form, and we don't share it with anyone. Each pack is generated fresh and exists only in your browser session. We use privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no tracking across sites) to understand how many people are using the product — nothing more.
Is it safe for children?
Every pack is designed with child safety and wellbeing at the centre. Activities are open-ended, non-competitive, and written to follow the child's lead. Nothing requires equipment, preparation, or leaving the house unless you choose an outdoor theme. Parents are always present and in the role of guide. Story Pack Studio will never generate content that is violent, frightening, or inappropriate for children — those guardrails are built into every pack we produce, not applied as an afterthought.
What if the pack isn't right for us?
Generate another one — it takes about 30 seconds. Every pack is different, and the inputs are designed so that small changes (a different theme, a different energy level) produce meaningfully different results. If something about the output feels off, trust that instinct and try again.
How much does it cost?
Your first three packs are completely free. After that, a subscription is £3.99/month, which gives you unlimited packs. Cancel any time — no commitment, no fuss.
How do I cancel my subscription, and what happens to my packs?
You can cancel any time from your Stripe billing portal — there's no commitment and no penalty. Once you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period, then stops. You won't lose any packs you've already generated, but you won't be able to create new ones without an active subscription or a gift pack balance.
I've subscribed before — how do I access my account?
We don't use passwords. Just enter the email address you subscribed with at the paywall and we'll check your subscription status automatically. If you're on a different device or browser, the same email gets you back in.
What is a gift pack, and how do I buy one?
A gift pack is a one-time purchase of 10 story packs for £9.99 — no subscription needed. You can buy one for yourself if you'd rather not subscribe, or buy one to give to another family. Gift packs are available from the main page.
How does the gift pack code work?
If you're buying for someone else, you'll receive a code after payment to pass on however you like — message, card, email. The recipient enters it on the site to unlock their packs. If you're buying for yourself, the code is applied automatically and you'll see your balance straight away. If you ever lose your code, check your email — we sent it to you from hello@storypackstudio.com straight after your purchase.
Do gift credits expire?
No. Gift credits sit on your account until you're ready to use them — no deadline, no pressure.
